  1. @nigelpegg That would be great. Thanks!
  2. Client's game is now playable end to end with full backend integration. Time to finish with final skinning and polish. Well, maybe tomorrow.
  3. Anyone know if you can turn off the logging in the LCCS/AFCS SDK? I dislike when APIs flood my console.
  4. Hanging out at @silvafug SJ. Chet Haase is going to talk about using effects in RIAs. Should be very interesting.
  5. @seanhess Thanks. Those tutorials look nice and simple and validate what I've already figured out on my own.
  6. Make that LCCS, not AFCS. Man, this service has had too many names.
  7. Playing with AFCS. Too bad there aren't many non-Flex examples.
  8. I dig how mapSingletonOf() in RobotLegs lets you easily inject mock services. I can put off using the real service until later.
  9. @jhooks Cool. Good to know. Hopefully we'll see custom metadata support in a future release of Flash Authoring.
  10. @secoif Dependency injection and native events both put it a big step above PureMVC for me. I wish it worked with Flash CS4, though.
  11. Playing with both Git and RobotLegs for the first time on a new project, and both get my seal of approval so far.
  12. Probably going to try RobotLegs for the first time this week. Hopefully, it'll be as awesome as everyone says.
  13. Video shoot at Adobe. Fun!
  14. Scribd is looking for a lead Flash engineer. They seem like good folks, so I thought I'd share.
  15. Putting together an options screen in Chroma Circuit for iPhone. Waiting for Snow Leopard to install on my old Mac Mini.
  16. @basictheory I wouldn't print either, but big corporations want signed contracts, and most want real signatures rather than digital.
  17. Printing and scanning on the same device with wi-fi built in too. I guess I finally made it into the current decade.
  18. @jwilker Actually, I think I unleashed a demon. The printer just violently rocked back and forth for 30 seconds. Time for a new one.
  19. @jwilker Funny like only printing the bottom half of each line of text. It was probably a print cartridge alignment thing.
  20. Being superstitious and printing a document from a VM because printing from my Mac was causing the printer to act funny the other day.
