  1. Happy to be back in the Neth despite long delay's in train travels because of snow. Bonus: Feyenoord beats AZ Alkmaar in Dutch soccer Cup.
  2. Back in Istanbul after long day of travelling and delay's. Rain and storm here, excited about snow stories from the Neth.

  5. Try to understand through BBC and tweets how situation in Copenhagen is. Can they really afford to mess it up?
  6. Afternoon session shows big differences between Spa and Tur situation in EU accession. One obvious reason: religion.
  7. Back in hotel after first day of round table on Spa-Tur. Ozbudun as always good on need for new Tur constitution & how to overcome deadlock

  14. Real bad news from Turkey: DTP closed down. Pro Kurd party made major mistakes but from this only Turk & Kurd hard liners will profit.
  15. @OnurOzyigit I see the Tokat killings as a clear provocation by the PKK (and/or the deep state) to stop the government's Kurdish initiative

  18. Just back from a meeting with Armenian associations in Turkey trying to save their schools and culture. Will help them to get EU funding
  19. Even more happy with Erdogan on front page of Radikal, as part of Greenpeace campaign to put pressure on world leaders in Copenhagen
