  1. @wnycradiolab "Numbers" isn't on the podcast feed. Just thought you'd like to know for people who only subscribe and miss the website.
  2. @feliciaburns Or if the lot wasn't completely EMPTY or if it wasn't a national HOLIDAY.
  3. @feliciaburns I would be less mad if my school paid me more than $7/hr to work for them or if I paid less than $15,000/semester to go here.
  4. @katarnett Or Happy Birthday. People tell you that a few days before, right?
  5. @katarnett People say Merry Christmas weeks before... I think it's the same thing. When people are off from work/school it starts for them.
  6. ON THANKSGIVING EVE NO LESS! Ok. I'm done complaining.
  7. I'm not giving up on this appeal. What idiot gives a college student a parking ticket for parking in the faculty lot when the lot is EMPTY?!
  8. @katarnett Always Thursday.
  9. I hope Campus Saftey understands there's a special place in hell for assigning parking tickets during a holiday break. What jerks.
  10. I'm trying to think of words like "rewind," which we still use for digital media.
  11. Does anyone have examples of common words/phrases that were developed from old concepts that we no longer use? I know there must be a ton!
  12. @marissachristy Think about it though. Some kids might feel embarrassed if they don't know what terms like TTYL, FTW, or ^_^ mean.
  13. @marissachristy Very true! I'm trying to think of things though that aren't used anymore, but our word still refers to old technology.
  14. Question of the day: Will emoticons and common online abbreviations ever be taught in schools?
  15. @marissachristy What are examples of that today? All I can remember right now is "scrubbing" in film editing.
  16. @marissachristy It's one of those things your kids won't understand while the grow up. "What's that a picture of mom?"
  17. @shua87 Be creative. Use mirrors.
  18. @eschaefer I already chose the Pixar book anyway, but thanks for your two cents.
  19. I decided to grab "A Pixar Story" for my free audiobook. *waits for 'you would!' comments*
  20. @letseatbacon I too have moments where bacon is the only thing on my mind.
