  1. @aubreymondi Ooooo what did you get? I watched Nightmare Before Christmas with some friends last night - good for transitioning holidays...
  2. @raulcelis I haven't seen it either, but apparantly Kelly's one of her favorite young directiors... I'm thinking DD's the main factor there.
  3. I made a list of @edgarwright & the people he interacts with. If you want a good laugh now & then, follow it. http://bit.ly/6PueO
  4. @simonmiraudo But I'm always up for adventure, especially if there's an open opportunity.
  5. @simonmiraudo Haha. No offense was taken, or would have been taken if you meant that. :) I imagine I'll be staying in the States anyway...
  6. @simonmiraudo Yay bell towers! What's the media-related job market like out there? Could that even be a possibilty for me?
  7. @ericbuist And "originals" is in quotes there since that's what they call them, not because of any weird air quote sarcasm, just to clarify.
  8. @ericbuist The quality of College Humor "Originals" is outstanding.
  9. @jesslomas So, what you're saying is, I should still keep it on my list of "places I'd probably love to live someday," regardless of heat.
  10. If you enjoyed that last video, there's a good chance you'll like this one too: http://bit.ly/3OLA5S
  11. @jesslomas The conversion sounds right. Is it dry heat or or humid?
  12. Does anyone else love to hear the title of a movie actually spoken in the movie? I know I do (most of the time)! http://bit.ly/4t19fH
  13. @katarnett Side note: In waiting for you chicken chili recipe to cool, I learned it makes fabulous chip dip when too hot to eat.
  14. I love Michael Giachino's endless nods to 1930's film scores in his score for Up. Great soundtrack. :)
  15. @katarnett Curious what you thought of Southland Tales...
  16. @jesslomas I enjoy the first couple snows, but there's a point where enough is enough. Also, I'd rather be way too hot than a little cold.
  17. @jesslomas The part I don't like is the massive amounts of snow - we get lake effect snow, so there are burried cars in the morning, etc.
  18. @jesslomas The temp isn't actually too bad... during an average winter, we'll typically see 10-15 °F, sometimes going down to a few below 0.
  19. @jesslomas I'd glady swap location with any of the complainers as soon as it gets cold here. :)
  20. @katarnett I've been working on that episode all week! I keep falling asleep as I listen before bed, so I'm going in 20 minute chunks.
