  1. just uploaded some photos from Brown House/Helser Hall@iowa state univ. Probably the best part of grad school. :)
  2. is enjoying Field Day. Talked to 5 stations in California already...need a break from the static, though..
  3. is planning his next EFRI, IDC and DAN IQC.
  4. had a great time teaching the DAN Dive Medicine for Divers course today.
  5. is getting ready for some DAN provider courses this weekend. O2, AED, BVM, stethoscope...gotta live Dive Medicine for Divers!
  6. is off to tour the U of U PD and U of U EOC. :)
  7. is trying to figure out how to get a digi portserver to reset a remote digitizer...gotta love rs232 control signals (why aren't I diving???)
  8. just showed his daughter how to build a simple crystal radio. What's worse? I know how, or that I have all the parts readily available? :)
  9. is gazing at numbers stream across his screen...wondering if the cell towers are mucking with his seismo telemetry.
  10. is pretty frustrated with cisco/linksys tech support. Their RV042 firewall/router claims to have a built-in 4-port switch. It's a hub. grr
  11. Wrapped up the AI portion of an IDC yesterday, started an EFRI program and should be finishing that today.

  14. just got back from an emergency trip to the vet for one of the cats...leg wasn't broken after all...just really, really sore. :(

  19. they are the "scout" model by hawk. Adequate for entry-level DPV training (definitely cost-effective).
  20. had a great time at the IE this weekend and is rather proud of how Cortney did on his presentations. Time to plan the next IDC...
