  1. LinkedIn can be fascinating at times. I have 5 other Jon Blocks (or Jonathan Blocks) as 3rd degree connections!
  2. When I'm down in the kitchen Evie's taken to shouting "Jon" down the stairs at me. When I reply she shouts "Love you, see you later". Cute.
  3. Right, I'm off to west London to (you guessed it, @higgis) pitch an idea to ESPN. Wish me luck :)
  4. I finally had the pleasure of meeting @joncart last night in person. He had a camera with him - I thought this was very fitting :)
  5. @wildwildwild They're just trying to get everyone used to me so that it doesn't come as a surprise when they announce my candidacy for CEO
  6. Evie likes tea. But she absolutely loves coffee.
  7. @higgis Haha! Well rather fittingly they also gave me a mug saying "Life's a pitch" :)
  8. Went to an ITV pitching tutorial/event this evening and won a trophy for my pitch :) Hopefully they might take the concept forward!
  9. Just had a great idea. Sponsored donuts - i.e. donuts with adverts on their icing. No need to say any more!
  10. There's a black helicopter hovering over Blackstock Road. Maybe the CIA hve finally come for me.
  11. Evie can say the alphabet: "a b c d e f g h i dum dum q r s t". It's very cute :)
  12. @jrowett you can buy a million dollar r&d space pencil if you want. I buy 2B. (actually I haven't bought a pencil for years, but if I did..)
  13. @jrowett Yeah I think they use pencils. They work in space :)
  14. @higgis Good post. But where would you and Hemmingway be without your moleskine? Nowhere probably. Like Tim 'Kindle' Adams.
  15. Gone to the post office. This is the first time I've had to start queueing outside the building o_0
  16. Had a strange dream about being offerred a bargain, unknown Van Gogh at £73m. Now that I've woken up it no longer seems a good deal.
  17. Bloody tired and no longer want to go back to work. Lovely weather for it too! RT @itvwxLondon: Noon: heavy rain, 11C | 6pm: heavy rain, 10C
  18. Back to work tomorrow. Hopefully Otis will allow us a good night's sleep. (unlikely)
  19. Well that's my paternity leave over. Short and sweet.
  20. @750x500 that's a girl's name. We did think of that when naming Evie though :)
