  1. @BirminghamCT I've been interested in old buildings for as long as I can remember. Thanks for following. Jon B
  2. @BeckyKingston Probably worth studying the detailed reviews on somewhere like www.dpreview.com or www.imaging-resource.com
  3. @BeckyKingston Maybe a Nikon D300S or Canon EOS 7D. APS sized sensors may be better for Macro. Canon does better video, Nikon handles better
  4. @londontaximan Don't think I'd like to say for certain. Personally I've found Orange relatively good though this could just be chance. JB
  5. @phil_hubbard They've certainly produced some great cars over the years, and I worked for them for a bit. Cheers JB
  6. @captainpk I'll try it soon. Cheers JB
  7. @msonline_uk I've never heard of that one. Fortunately I've never had to try it (or on Five Ways in Birmingham) Cheers JB
  8. @darrenjanin I don't think IQ Routes uses data - it's based on historic info stored with the maps. Cheers JB
  9. @Petrolhead159 Thank you. It's a 320i Group 5 racer from the 70s BMW Junior-team. Available at www.slickattire.com incidentally. Cheers JB
  10. @i_am_stewart http://tiny.cc/CEOemails but keep the CEO in caps or you get a special interest site. Cheers JB
  11. @BeckyKingston I guess it depends what area. A news photographer would have different needs to a studio, architecural or landscape one.
  12. @Keith_Lynn Have a good meeting. Cheers JB
  13. @PaulWestlake Your choice.
  14. @PaulWestlake Money no object TomTom plus dedicated mount is better, clearer. CoPilot better value, more configurable for satnav enthusiasts
  15. @Keith_Lynn Probably soldier on with Office. Software4students has good deals.
  16. @JordanSmith105 Thanks for suggesting it. I shall try and get hold of one. Looks interesting in an Acer Aspire Revo sort of way. JB
  17. @PaulWestlake It seems to. I had roaming switched off when I was testing the TomTom in Paris.
  18. @Keith_Lynn Though iWork's Keynote is excellent Pages and Numbers leave something to be desired
  19. @Keith_Lynn Office for Mac is depressing. It doesn't work well, either in 2004 or 2008 form. New one coming next year.
  20. @PaulWestlake The iPhone uses data for apps like Google Maps but not for apps like CoPilot and TomTom which store their maps on the phone.
