  7. @cmchase Honestly they bought it for my boss over a year ago, but he got laid off in Dec, so I inherited the Mac (he does have a new job).

  18. @sthig Camino is pretty lightweight. Also, Google Chrome for Mac does exist, although it is pre-beta.
  19. @cmchase sure. I totally blitzed mine lastnight, but I learned a lot :). I've run MacPorts for a year, though. No complaints.
  20. @cmchase re: MySQL crashing, you could try either MAMP or MacPorts - both will manage all of it for you, and are free.
