  1. Buck Rogers No. 16 (1982): Goes against Sleestak-like slavers. Story not bad, but art was. Top-notch cover probably helped sell this issue.
  2. Irredeemable No. 2 (May 09): When you don't understand a cliffhanger, is it really a cliffhanger? That's what makes this issue stumble. C-
  3. Johnny Monster No. 1 of 3: Really not too bad. I like the premise, but had issues with the "reporter dialogue" that framed the issue. B-
  4. Lethal Legion No. 1 (Aug 09): Somewhat interesting footnote to the Dark Reign story. Will explain why Wonder Man joins this team of badguys.
  5. @OAFE What for? Congrats, anyway!
  6. Buck Rogers No. 6 (1980): Been reading a little of this series, it seems a smidge better than the crappy 1970s TV show. Not saying much.
  7. Wednesday Comics No. 1 (2009): Wow, this is a great product. I think the cover stinks, but inside it is truly amazing. Only disliked 2.
  8. LiveWires -- Clockwork Thugs, Yo! (2006): Well thought out sci-tech coupled with a decent story. Not a fan of the art though. Too Manga-ish.
  9. Supergirl 42 (Aug 2009): Aftermath of "Superwoman" arc raises some interesting issues for the Lanes and the Langs. Wonderful art.
  10. Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers (1 of 4): Undeniably cute and amusing. I love to see books like this, and hope to see more.
  11. Hulk No. 10 (Apr 09): Hulk "reforms" Defenders in a classic set up -- Elder of the Universe vs. Elder of the Universe. Modern take though.
  12. I'm trying to learn hurling, an Irish sport like lacrosse. This time -- I hunt for balls. Check out my blog: http://tinyurl.com/hurley2r...
  13. Avengers The Initiative 19-24 (2008-9): Covers Secret Invasion and aftermath. I've really grown to like the ensemble cast in this book.
  14. Werewolves on the Moon No. 1 of 3 (2009): Juvenile, but quite funny, take on a werewolf invasion of the moon. Enjoyed the art & jokes.
  15. Booster Gold No. 20 (July 09): Giffen takes Booster for a trip to the 1950s. OK and all, but I want action versus costumed villains.
  16. Teen TItans No. 69 (May 09): New team forms. Only interested in BB, WG and MM though. The rest? I suppose they're cannon fodder.
  17. Spectacular Spider-Man Annual No. 7 (1987): Puma crashes the Parker honeymoon. Proof once again that the Puma is an awesome character.
  18. Green Arrow & Black Canary Nos. 18-19 (2009): Wrapping up Cupid's debut. Ultimately only interesting because of a few villain deaths.
  19. Remember THURSDAY is new comics day!
  20. Supergirl Nos. 37-38 (2009): Exploring the Superwoman mystery, we get several possible suspects. Pretty good stuff in general. Great covers.
