  1. @RyanFarley Thanks Ryan! FYI, a couple days ago I deleted the GitHub repo and recreated so you'll have to re-follow. Sorry about that
  2. RT @RestSharp: First public commit is up on GitHub. Docs and a release download to follow in the next few days http://bit.ly/298Chh
  3. @joshlewis I was informed after posting that it was old, but I think the HD version was new. So there's that.
  4. @joshlewis Seen this yet? Beaker sings "Ode to Joy" http://bit.ly/8Y5VmW
  5. You know how you get a little popup in VS when you type a class name in an unref'd namespace? I want the same thing for extension methods.
  6. If you're going to start a UserVoice site, it's worthless unless you keep it up to date. e.g. Windows Azure site: http://bit.ly/5C9ZO9
  7. @Encosia Do it and get back to writing :)
  8. @marcaune Twitter is an acquired taste. It takes more than one morning to get used to it. You're just not ready for it yet. It will happen.
  9. @jeremyjm @jeff_williams you guys strike me as the kind that might like this deal: http://www.sparkfun.com/com...
  10. Woohoo! @RestSharp will now deserialize this JSON http://tr.im/FDL9 into this http://bit.ly/8WGnne Nested dictionaries was a challenge.
  11. @joshlewis This is the 'Smashing Mag effect' on web app design. They show off 57 inline label examples and ppl start using them w/o thought.
  12. @joshlewis I can handle search fields and maybe log in forms. Anything longer than that and they're unusable.
  13. @joshlewis And when you tab to the next field, the label is gone before you can read it. Tab, Shift-Tab, Tab is what I end up doing.
  14. @joshlewis http://bit.ly/7EzTg4 Biggest issue is if you get distracted, it takes a couple clicks just to remember what you're doing.
  15. Tried a couple different YouTube videos tonight and they all buffer like crazy, even at low res. YouTube or Comcast?
  16. @bitly Am I missing something in your API docs...do you have docs on the full schema returned by /info? The examples aren't complete.
  17. @MotoWilliams Generally agree, but even apps I use often suffer from the same problem. When distracted, you forget what field you're in.
  18. Trendy UI gimmick I can't stand and is horribly unusable: inline labels. Fine for single field forms, annoying for anything more.
  19. Just vetoed adding a tag cloud on @emilysheehan's blog. She's mad. She said they're trendy. I said "5 years ago" :)
  20. What are some cool things (tech or otherwise) under $50 that I should ask for Christmas? Extended family demands a list.
