  1. @BrentDPayne Did you notice that the limit in Webmaster Tools was increased to 1000 sites? I didn't until now :-). Hope it helps!
  2. @BrentDPayne With 160 URL parameters the webmaster needs to be savvy too :). I'll check to see if there's an easy way.
  3. @BrentDPayne I'll pass it on! Have you tried splitting your site up into logical sections (with hopefully fewer parameters)?
  4. Anyone have some examples of sites that modify content / redirect based on the users location or language settings in a neat way? #curious
  5. RT @rustybrick @dannysullivan on the 1st search marketing conf http://bit.ly/24I4b6 (great read)
  6. @rishil robots.txt controls crawling, not indexing. Isn't it a good result for your query?
  7. @gustavobacchin Googlebot is generally fine with 5 redirects, but seriously, if you know it's 5 redirects, make it 1 instead :-).
  8. @leemessenger In Chrome: Ctrl-Shift-I + Resources. I think timeline & profiling is unique to Chrome. Pick the best tool for the job :-)
  9. @wilreynolds I'm not sure if Webmaster Tools has a warning for that, Googlebot can crawl them fine in most cases.
  10. @wilreynolds Every redirect is a trip to the server (+DNS, if a different host/domain), so if you can use a single one, it's always better.
  11. @wilreynolds 301s to 301s are ok. HTTP 1.0 has a limit of 5 chained redirects IIRC (which is a lot). It's just slower.. What's the problem?
  12. Awesome job & nice writeup RT @rustybrick We used Google's Speed Tool to make RustyBrick.com ~70% faster http://bit.ly/J4CiF
  13. I wonder about people who spam the Google blogs ... are they doing it on purpose? Putting time into their sites would help more.
  14. RT @BrentDPayne Update your News Sitemaps to remain included in Google News http://post.ly/CZvi
  15. @rustybrick That's a part of the Kirkland team -- they're awesome (and have awesome Halloween costumes :-))
  16. RT @googlewmc check out our new keywords user interface: http://bit.ly/25xuN
  17. @leemessenger There are three main Chrome lines: http://bit.ly/DUqUc - the dev channel has the newest suff.
  18. @leemessenger Are you trying the dev channel? I'm not sure, but I think it has the cooler version of the Chrome dev tools :-)
  19. RT @mattcutts Note to webmasters: the full roll out of Caffeine won't happen until after the holidays. More info: http://bit.ly/4GELv6
