  1. @cdibona that's what she said... ba dum *crash*
  2. @mjasay Haha... right. oops. "will supposedly have" - forgot the vaporware aspect of all this.
  3. @bob_sutor @mjasay yes but it has custom desktop env. and different APIs. the developer experience will be completely different
  4. @stuvansweet80 heh... no worries :)
  5. RT @grantwahl "Mexican Fed sets 3 pm kickoff time on a WEEKDAY for huge USA-Mexico WCQ on Wed Aug 12. Smog and heat! ¡¡¡Qué gamesmanship!!!"
  6. @stuvansweet80 ???
  7. @ravenme SF had its own Cesar Chavez brouhaha about 10 years ago. wasn't pretty and divided lots of folks.
  8. ever heard of soccer diplomacy? read this from salon.com: http://bit.ly/P5JHA
  9. @fusion94 thinking about it. depends on how employed I am in the near future. And you?
  10. USA 2:0 HON - in a dreadful gold cup match, the Yanks prevailed with 2 late goals. Winning ugly is still winning.
  11. @teich cool. let me know if you'd like to discuss over coffee in the near future.
  12. @teich please share more!
  13. @mjasay me too :) never been a dan lyons fan, but that was brilliance in a box
  14. @zAgile would love to get coffee! :) "scam" was probably a bit extreme. Just don't think it's the smartest way to go
  15. @maslett I think companies could get the same benefits of htis model with an unlimited free to download and use product + open API
  16. @maslett true - I suppose there's a fence to ride somewhere. just don't like the side where most companies fall with this strategy
  17. @maslett if main objective is to cripple the OSS project and "upgrade" leeches/freeloaders to commercial, why bother w/ open source at all?
  18. @maslett I really don't see the point of what is now called "open core" - seems like a scam and lack of respect for (and trust in) community
  19. I replaced a toilet assembly today. oh yeah...
  20. @lmaugustin @jperlow color me completely unsurprised
