  1. Win a new Macbook Pro on Cyber Monday 2009. Details here: http://bit.ly/29rFES
  2. @qrush Yes, I'm doing it manually on a CentOS box. I hope the process is as friendly on the WinXP and OSX machiines... thanks for your help!
  3. @qrush I'm following you now so you can DM me if you want
  4. .@qrush thx but I get the 403 error even when trying "gem update --system" on 3 machines. "gem -v" on each shows 1.1.1, 1.2.0 and 0.9.5
  5. .@gemcutter I'm getting "bad response Forbidden 403 (http://gemcutter.org/latest...)" - is anyone else getting this?
  6. I'm really beginning to hate the phrase "after this update you *may* need to restart your computer" - should be *almost always* restart
  7. Waiting in line at a pharmacy. Aren't you glad you know that?
  8. Retweeting @jkeppel: Good Question! The Eight Best Questions We Got While Raising Venture Capital http://ow.ly/ETwH - good to always ponder

  10. RT @defunkt: Who drinks a shot through a straw? That ain't right. (tweeting about shots before 11am? That ain't right)
  11. RT @dhh: Always leave code in a better condition than you found it. (ok, I can agree with this)
  12. @wombatnation when did your cat buy itself a motorized water dish? I suggest revoking it's Amazon one-click privileges.
  13. Happily surprised by the nosql session at #rubyConf. Still bothered by the name and the idea that it is a "movement" but the session is good
  14. @melle my life is complete. I met @joshbuddy. But he didn't bring me any food. :-(
  15. In the front row at #RubyConf, waiting for Matz (and for the hotel wifi)
  16. @blackfeather try asking @cjkihlbom for a ticket. It just needs to be assigned to you on the registration site with name, addr and email
  17. Now that I have my #rubyconf ticket in hand, who do I know who will be there? Dan? Brian? MBirk?
  18. Waiting for an important email.
  19. Woot! At the risk of jinxing it, it appears that I have a line on a RubyConf ticket! (::knocks on wood::)
  20. Second request of the great and powerful LazyWeb: does anyone have a >> RubyConf << ticket for me? (corrected, thanks to @blackfeather)
