  14. @Vickiteal that way they all line up in alpha order for cataloging. Each lib has between 30-100 shelv locations
  15. @Vickiteal shelving locations have specific descriptions, and 4digit codes, starting with 2letter codes for each lib
  16. @Vickiteal for our ever-expanding consortium, I use just about a dozen or so collection codes but zillions of shelv locations. more later
  17. tornados just suck. In a library basement at the moment, watching radar on the laptop. Groan. My new little car!!
  18. is there a definitive source for assigning new institution codes? digits 2-5 in a barcode?
