  1. @ericflo Don't forget Upcoming.
  2. @richgor not if you've got an in-house URL shortener...
  3. @joshclauss Also, in case you missed it, Aaron's tweet was wrong -- it's not the Post, it's two other MNG newspapers.
  4. @joshclauss ...and I look forward to seeing any lessons learned from it.
  5. @joshclauss I don't speak for the Post, sorry. That said, I think this experiment with blocking Google is quick and easy to implement...
  6. @aaronbailey That's flat wrong. Did you read the article? It's MNG's Chico paper and York paper, not The Denver Post.
  7. @mattwaite To start: I'd like a class that teaches what goes into a personal site that can help me FOR THE LOVE OF GOD get a journalism job.

  12. @svandoren Is that site yours?
  13. @wmhartnett you know, I really wanted to squeeze that "and a pack of inbred owners" in there, but that darn 140 character limit spiked that.
  14. New HappyJournalist: "I’m happy because after 7 years of being underappreciated by a booze-addled editor..." http://bit.ly/2Ykk2G
  15. Wrote a new post on my blog: A few things I’d like to see local news sites publish – http://bit.ly/22GoFE
  16. @tammytoes Thanks tammy! Posted that on @baconbacon~~~
  17. Peter Krasilovsky notes @ajmoor's leaving the Dallas Morning News to head up Yahoo! News' new local push: http://bit.ly/2ejh3f
  18. Developers, technical writers, storytellers: An out-of-this-world plea against parsing HTML with regular expressions: http://bit.ly/3JnQ31
  19. @OmnitureCare onBeforeUnload was a bit in jest -- hard to know if they're coming back when they leave.... ah, unrealistic metrics.
  20. @OmnitureCare yeah -- there's a lot that's out of reach. How do you talk to someone who's not listening anymore? .... onBeforeUnload?
