  1. @Leo_Pusateri You know I'm no fan, but facts are facts: he signed the bill. (It was attached to a bill he wanted a whole lot.)
  2. @gideonstrumpet We'll see how badly it's received before I know. Far as I know, though, it's the only one with its own music.
  3. @Leo_Pusateri That said, so far we've only had (slight, granted) expansion of gun rights under Obama. I would have bet heavily against it.
  4. @Leo_Pusateri I'm just relieved that they're not -- yet -- classified as firearms.
  5. @gideonstrumpet All "important" and most "self-important" Windows updates do.
  6. Blawg Review done. I don't have the slightest idea if it's any good; out at Windypundit.com and http://bit.ly/3Z4jUj at midnight CST.
  7. @ScottGreenfield No. Better than the third one, sorta like a stew with fewer moose turds in it is better than one with more.
  8. Two things I'm sure of: 1. doing Blawg Review isn't easy; 2. I've got to go teach a carry class. Happy Sunday, all.
  9. @jackassletters Littering. And creating a nuisance, obviously.
  10. @jim7226 That explains some of the first-thing shooting, sure, but not the guys who make Garrison sound like Beirut on a Saturday night.
  11. @jim7226 I get the strong impression that a lot of folks feel a need to shoot at something early on in the opener, even if it's only a tree.
  12. http://bit.ly/3ukZwG I suspect alcohol just may have been involved.
  13. http://bit.ly/2eX8Qk Wow. We were there again this last summer.
  14. @gideonstrumpet Friend, visiting us in New Haven: "I always thought of CT as green and beautiful. Until the train stopped in Bridgeport."
  15. @gideonstrumpet I did it just for you.
  16. @Charonqc @ScottGreenfield lives in New York; it's a suburb of Bridgeport.
  17. http://is.gd/4SIMy Apparently, cash is no longer suspected of being a hijacking tool.
  18. @btannebaum He probably needs one who understands CT. Lotsa luck there; it's a strange state.
  19. @gideonstrumpet I think you should always have access to your a/c. I've *lived* in CT, and am against cruel and unusual punishment.
  20. @btannebaum Wouldn't you be more concerned with good evidence against your client?
