  1. @fruitcake13 so you might as well have typed it in (or on) the Solent
  2. Having a very strange conversation with someone who thinks I'm in Antarctica. Told him I haven't seen anyone for 3 days, which is true.
  3. @notatibm To revive an appropriate if outmoded exclamation: safe! Congratulations on your distinguished certification in software security.
  4. @wen_plus how long ago? Would I still be able to find it on iPlayer?
  5. @matrober The problem *is* fixed. If you get another BSOD, that's a *new* problem.
  6. RT @flowchainsensei: … Twitterkeys: http://bit.ly/CTkPg ✔ ♺ ♥ etc.
  7. @dcurrie yup, and the phone, too ;)
  8. @andysc Yeah, I need to work on my straight man patter. Here's a permalink as compensation: http://xkcd.com/532/
  9. RT @alexbfree: EU gets [phone makers] to standardize to a common USB plug for charging phones. About time! http://su.pr/1d7RDn
  10. @graham_alton Please do the needful.
  11. @andysc are you sure that isn't *some Greek baclava*
  12. What's up with iPlayer? Download of Confetti in HD *almost* completed 3 times, and now it isn't available. Bah.
  13. @garethj I guess they could do exactly the same in any OO language, however it happens to be typed.
  14. @garethj I meant *real* programmers use *statically typed classes* without any knowledge of OO. I have no idea what JavaScript ppl do.
  15. @garethj So you're saying that real programmers use JavaScript? Pah! They use classes without a hint of OO. I know — I've worked with them.
  16. @lizsamme Why can't that be right? And what does it even mean? I'm 86% hetero but as a girl I'd be 89%! Can that be right? http://➞.ws/멑
  17. @garethj Interfaces are for wimps. Real programmers use classes.
  18. @acroll jeje—good point! They should pay you, *and* offset the extra carbon emissions (not that it means anything—it's just the principle…)
  19. @garethj that's fine if you didn't do a kneeling-at-the-altar thing at your wedding.
  20. @alexbfree what book is that?
