  4. Start day with midwest thunderstorm, spend the day on atv's and finish with a boat ride with a side trip for ribs for dinner
  5. DTW to Cement City...living the high life
  6. Mountain biking, hiking and swimming - Whistler offers quite the active vacation spot. Tomorrow might include luge.
  7. Quite a day - Whistler through a 7 and 9 yo's eyes. Boils down to swimming, ice cream and hiking. Maybe biking tomorrow.
  8. is it wrong to go to Canada and celebrate the U.S. Independence Day?

  10. Paper airplane by a docent at the Museum of Flt is amazing (esp since he was chief aerodynamacist on the 777) Not cool-me replicating one

  12. a full day of meetings and going to bed late is one way to get over jetlag
  13. just finished making bfast with the boys for greg - quite the task w/ jet lag..who noticed the burnt pancakes?
  14. Didn't sleep well on plane and now suffering through 3 hour layover in Vancouver...it's going to be tough once I get to Seattle :-(
  15. p.s. despite the outrageous humidity and heat, I am favoring Hong Kong over Shanghai
  16. HKG to YVR to SEA...sad to leave but ready to be home
  17. @hoppibunny we're visiting Shanghai and HK - back to HK tonight and then to Seattle on Sat. We have had some amazing xiao lon baos!
  18. Last day in Shanghai - checking the must-sees off the list. Might be tired of dim sum, though (never thought I would say that)!
  19. Medical team in faux haz mat suits board the plane and aim a temp gun at your forehead is a bit disconcerting but one way to contain the flu
