  13. @katrinagulliver Interestingly (and only anecdotally) conf of Amer South historians I was just at remarked that # of jobs back up....
  14. For that cohort of historians, FB has largely replaced email for all social (and some professional) communications.
  15. Most surprising tech news from #sha2009 --- Most of my cohort of historians (grad school ~1995-2003) are now using FB regularly.
  16. @footnotesrising I think lunch breaks allow processing of earlier sessions and more discussions with colleagues, but not necessarily rest...

  19. Back from #sha2009 exhausted but further convinced that smaller conferences are the secret to productive presentation & generation of ideas.
