  1. Greeted with joy by both dogs, their unconditional love is very welcome. Although, arguably highlights what rest of my life is missing....
  2. Made it home to mum & dad's, despite some of the biggest yawns I've ever stretched my mouth open for. Have saw jaw now.
  3. V.nice time at Curtains Up, lots of lovely people I've not seen for ages. Maybe I should get out more... Now to drive to Hants, early start.
  4. @stephenfry Did you know you were going to be name checked on Corrie tonight? Over the bar of the Rovers as setting a good example to kids.
  5. Running late as ever for evening engagements, but heading out to Baron's Court for pub action followed by drive to Hants. Riding out am.
  6. "You're so vain, you probably still think this tweet is about you."
  7. Working my way through songs beginning with Y on iPhone; "You took the words right out of my mouth" - gosh, you too, fancy that!
  8. Lunch over - yes, I know the time. Very nice time with excellent and witty entertainment courtesy of Rory Bremner.
  9. @pepperjw do I fancy the lovely Miss Lumley? Not enough to part with shed loads of cash to dine with her; one of today's auction prizes.
  10. As well as Thanksgiving, today is 13th Sir Peter O'Sullevan charity lunch. The great & some good & me (late invite) off to the Dorchester.
  11. Back home and hooray, waiting for me was present to myself from Amazon, box sets of series 1-3 of Weeds. A ciggie to celebrate.
  12. And yesterday I missed lunch with the Princess Royal. Was supposed to be at a meeting with her and, for combo of reasons, I forgot. Really.
  13. Got front row top deck spot on bus home. Yes!
  14. And loitering in a somewhat hooker stylee in Piccadilly while waiting to catch up with the glam Katie F.
  15. Ok, today's big presentation went pretty well but proof will be in the Xmas pudding. Relieved it's over and few regrets.
  16. @FlipShelton loving your tweets. Good luck with the move.
  17. Call me shallow, but for me there is something rather sexy about a woman reading the sports pages. Fellow passenger on 137 doing just that.
  18. First day of sunshine since I got back from Oz. Good. Interesting day ahead - including a pivotal presentation this pm.
  19. At tonight's London Racing Club, Andy Stewart was adamant that Denman cannot win on Saturday. I hope he's wrong. No offence, Andy.
  20. @nicky_t It was great viewing. Sat down intending to watch 15 mins or so and was gripped for the duration. Want to buy the record now.
