  1. @FreeInvoicing thanks, but I went with my own HTML/CSS invoices http://bit.ly/QUjPL
  2. Wondering if this would make a good co-working space in Old Town: http://washingtondc.craigsl...
  3. @neriv works here, but on Mac.
  4. @neriv which browser?
  5. Totally agree... and smell a potential blog post coming: ♺ @datawench "Mise en place" is as important in programming as it is in cooking.
  6. @datawench no problem :D
  7. @tswicegood end of the day, I prefer non-FSF licenses, but don't go around asking people to change their projects accordingly.
  8. @tswicegood ...until you go to build a plugin on top of GPL software. Then that has to be GPL too (or it doesn't, depending on who you ask)
  9. @tswicegood but that can be done with the Apache license, among others. GPL comes with the implied attitude that all software should be GPL.
  10. @datawench sure, contact at jlleblanc DOT com. And yeah, the Windows quotes can be troublesome :(
  11. @tswicegood not that everyone who GPL's their code necessarily espouses that philosophy, but the FSF very much promotes it that way.
  12. @tswicegood it's the whole "and oh by the way, please join my political movement to Free all code" bit that some of us dislike.
  13. @datawench was it UTF8 to begin with or some other encoding?
  14. @datawench 1.0.x used whatever your MySQL default encoding was. Telling the DB dump to explicitly set the encoding *should* fix it.
  15. @datawench migrating a 1.0 site to 1.5?
  16. At Buzz. Twitter: off. Cappuccino: in hand. Commence programming!
  17. @CaseySoftware @caseymultimedia ok, that got my blood pressure up this morning. Maybe I need to go see my private doctor while I still can.
  18. @skeevis I wish *I* was in San Diego.
  19. RT: @CaseySoftware http://is.gd/1A4iQ - An Open Source Language Smackdown! @lxt is in PHP's corner. Be there or be a Rails guy ;)
  20. RT: @coolacid: Holy Crap -> http://bit.ly/WuVnR *One Browser bug to rule them all*
