  1. Wha'? Is this a joke? Behringer buys Midas. Is that kind of like Carnival Cruises owning the Cunard Line?
  2. And I've decided that I really really want a Nikon 35mm f/1.4. Looks like they're around $600.
  3. Long day. Got to listen to/mix lots of music, though.
  4. QUICK: Reaktor or Max/MSP? (My answer would be Reaktor, followed by SuperCollider)
  5. @muffwiggler Those stickers keep turning up in strange places.
  6. RT @parasitk The Sick Are Not Healing [pic] http://ff.im/-clDFD
  7. @muffwiggler Kinda wish you'd taken a daily pic of the healing process. We could play it backwards, set it to some Merzbow, and rock out.
  8. @parasitk If you guys were a straightedge band, I'd see your logic. As a metal band, I wouldn't think there'd be a dearth of hair.
  9. Practicing Hiragana. My brain is getting too old for this.
  10. @parasitk Yes. I'd buy them, but only if they were limited edition and hand numbered with real hair attached.
  11. @Chris_Randall God. I want that lens. Reminds me of the f/0.7 Zeiss lens that Stanley Kubrick used while filming Barry Lyndon.
  12. @Chris_Randall Is that the AF f/4-5.6? Since those lenses are relatively not that expensive, I'd be interested if you decide to let it go.
  13. Wow. Mental Ray is just a bit more capable than what I'm used to. Really liking Maya so far.
  14. @Chris_Randall Haha-- I've really only ever shot with Nikkor, so for all I know the non Nikkor lenses are crap.
  15. @Chris_Randall @brandon_dnl I'm looking for some wider primes. Any good cheaper non-nikkor lenses that you know of?
  16. @Chris_Randall I'm with you-- I really like a lot of Canon's products, but at this point I'm too fond of a few of my lenses to switch.
  17. RT @Chris_Randall: Oh, and: $3 worth of MP3s for free from Amazon today only. 'Tis here: http://bit.ly/5HQPuK
  18. @TomWhitwell IAEA: Home of flat-pack nuclear reactors
  19. Am I the only one who keeps reading IAEA as IKEA?
  20. Some pictures from my hike today: http://jwm-photoblog.tumblr.com/post/260368657/los-pinetos
