  1. If we now have to pay extra for Media Center, will MS keep the guide update mechanism running?
  2. @sraichlen under $400, CharBroil infrared.
  3. It's all connected... lnkd.in/Tu5a_R
  4. @bjdraw which is also why people in North America pirate (or so I am told).
  5. @alton987 newegg had a little HP ProLiant on special.
  6. @bjdraw @alton987 I'll buy that analogy. Car analogies are always poor. What I was getting that Q doesn't exist without core Media Center.
  7. @bjdraw @alton987 isn't that like saying you are leaving Toyota for Lexus?
  8. @psychlloyd @bjdraw Ha! I did 2TB the hard way (3 x 750GB in a RAID 0 stripe).
  9. @psychlloyd @bjdraw Luckily I am on a Motorola system and did not have to live the hell that is the Cisco/SA implementation.
  10. @psychlloyd @bjdraw It's definitely better than it was. But every once in awhile I need to reboot that SDV thing.
  11. @psychlloyd If someone can do it better than Microsoft. The controls on the XBOX video apps aren't that great.
  12. @psychlloyd @bjdraw Oh, I run nVidia...
  13. @psychlloyd @bjdraw And since I mentioned Charter in a tweet, I will probably be hearing from them soon. Too creepy!
  14. @psychlloyd @bjdraw My issues are SDV related. What can't Charter just go all digital?
  15. @psychlloyd @bjdraw Never seen the black screen problem here (and I running on an Intel motherboard that does not support Win7 per intel).
  16. @psychlloyd @bjdraw And custom engineering isn't a core competency for either company as well. Just Tier 1/Tier 2 part slappers.
  17. @psychlloyd @bjdraw ASUS or Acer can't do it as CC is US only technology and really hard to support from China.
  18. @psychlloyd @bjdraw If anyone can do this right, it will be Ceton. ASUS or Acer? Nope.
  19. @psychlloyd @bjdraw But that is how you get unstable configurations and HTPC that just don't work the way they should.
  20. @psychlloyd @bjdraw You have to price in the support and the engineering. If you just want to slap together parts you can do it.
