  1. @kayray It's on the Kindle already, ready to go! :-)
  2. @kayray Good suggestion! I've read one Jeeves book, I'd enjoy another. I'm also thinking of Jerome K. Jerome (enjoyed Bummel).
  3. @diversionmary Yep, I'm thinking of Sherlock Holmes right now. I'd started re-reading the canon before classes started up.
  4. Reviewed Halley's Bible Handbook. Does a terrible disservice to Christianity with its overly-literalist POV. http://bit.ly/8C78xS
  5. Thinking of the best light (since the boys will be along and interrupting) reading for my Kindle on a train trip.
  6. Trying to debunk Searle's Chinese Room argument and validate the Turing Test.
  7. Very excited that the Kindle 2 got PDF support today.
  8. Oh no! Severe fire damage at the Old Mill. http://tinyurl.com/yjkx8hr
  9. Will be at #Chicago Union Station twice. 3hr once, 5hr 2nd time. Good places to eat, open on a holiday, close by? (Will have kids along)
  10. Just got email from CDBaby: The Kansas Mennonite Men's Chorus CDs are available to buy online! http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/ka...
  11. @twitter Whatever happened to organically adding features to support the way people use Twitter, instead of making users change?
  12. @twitter The new retreat "feature" is terrible. I want to see who RT'd something and reply to that person. Also breaks API for lots.
  13. @KeePassDroid I'm quite happy with it as it is -- especially given that KeePassX only supports the 1.x format. Hope 1.x support will stay.
  14. Very much like K9 mail on Android. Wish it had unified inbox, home screen shortcuts like default 2.0 mail.
  15. CBO: Senate bill costs 49b but reduces the deficit by 27b. I don't get it. If it saves us money, how can it cost us money?
  16. My 7-year-old Citizen watch is dying. Time to get a replacement. Leaning towards a Seiko kinetic.
  17. It seems having 1100 messages in my inbox is slowing town the Android mail reader a teensy bit.
  18. Snow has arrived. And it's cold and windy too.
  19. Watching Rick Steves Germany. Love how they talk of time. "New" city hall in Munich 100 yrs old. "Recent" fortress in Austria 150 yrs old
  20. Back from Wichita. Jacob loved the Old Mill Tasty Shop and Great Plains Transportation Museum.
