  1. @natehoekstra Is it just me, or is Larry's suit too small for him?
  2. @benrapin It's a fairly simple formula...no jobs=no taxpayers=no services=more crime. We're making W Va. look like an economic powerhouse.
  3. @timdoctor We were already told not to jump to conclusions about that. He might not have meant what he said...
  4. @astradaemon Looks like I have to sell all my old photo equipment on craigslist to finance the new digital. stupid technology.
  5. Many answered prayers in our house recently. My son got some immediate answers to prayer today. He's very excited.
  6. @koodies Yes, but you seem really sincere and you've never tried to sell me anything. This guy complimented my 15yo car at a gas pump. Duh
  7. I bought my wife a beautiful Canon 35mm SLR a few years back. Now she wants a digital one. Ugh. What do I do with the 35mm dino now?

  10. @pdykhuis I had a guy try to sell me on an Amway business at a gas pump Friday night. It was priceless.
  11. Thought about putting Christmas lights up today. Decided we're going to be Jewish this year...
  12. @pdykhuis That's kind of where I'm at right now with this. I want to retain the friend while tactfully telling him I'm not interested.
  13. @Scout7 I read Blink as well. I liked it a lot. All of his books provide food for thought and further investigation.
  14. I have a good friend trying to entice/entrap me in a MLM business/scheme. Why do these things exist?
  15. Just finished Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point. Very good read with some interesting things to think about.
  16. @astradaemon 'goodbye' in Chinese, and maybe the words for 'cold beer.' Fortunately, there's a lot of English over there.
  17. @astradaemon I took French in HS and college, though I really can't do much with it. I know 'hi' and
  18. @koodies I wish you well on your decision. It's not always about money as you likely know. Looking forward to hearing more.
  19. @astradaemon I saw it. It looks pretty cool in the pond. Maybe it has some swan feathers around its mouth.
  20. @koodies Very likely. Working on the final details for a long-awaited end and an exciting beginning.
