  1. Getting ready to bring the rain...
  2. @samtimes THREE?! How? Sorry to hear that. Happened to me once and it reminds you how fragile digital can be. Can they be recovered?
  3. Saw PUBLIC ENEMIES. Good, not great (Mann usually makes the latter). Didn't agree with the video look (not right for period). Worth a watch.
  4. A friend said it's Twitter etiquette to follow everyone who follows you. I disagree. There shouldn't be lots of noise with nobody listening.
  5. @johnaugust Not to mention avoiding typecasting of monumental proportions.
  6. FFVII was the reason I got a PSone. It was my first RPG. Hadn't played it in over a decade and didn't hold up as well as I thought it would.
  7. Bought Final Fantasy VII on PS3. For some reason, thought it would be updated (16x9, gameplay fixes). Nope. Game and graphics don't hold up.
  8. CU kid wants to open a cafe in Boulder, delivering a morning boost... without the coffee (could've belonged in the Onion): http://jui.cc/A2.
  9. @warandpeace I've had success with Craigslist (and eBay at times). There's many affordable Mamiya, Bronica and Yashica setups. Good luck!
  10. BARRY LYNDON features cinema's widest aperture at f/0.7 (!) and was lit almost entirely by candlelight. It also took 300 days to film...
  11. BARRY LYNDON (http://jui.cc/iA). Kubrick's most underrated film. A masterpiece.
  12. RT @dcuthbert Emmanuel Smague's imagery is blowing me away: http://jui.cc/Gf.
  13. @wookiehangover It's playing at the Mayan right now in Denver. Quite an interesting film.
  14. @davidstripinis My favorite of the day.
  15. I don't care what anyone says - A.I. was a magnificent film; one of Spielberg's most underrated and misunderstood. A favorite.
  16. There's something about sports photography from the 60's and 70's that can simply be described as magical (especially boxing).
  17. @justingaynor Exactly. Live View (zooming in) helps quite a bit when doing it digitally but I shot that with film - a little more difficult.
  18. Put up a new shot on my photoblog of my friend, @wookiehangover - http://jui.cc/sK. That Canon 85mm f/1.2L is such a dreamy lens, folks.
  19. Why are we so cheap to pay a few bucks on something so enjoyable/useful/replayable that took a long time to make? Internet's 'free' culture?
  20. From a guy on his iPhone (presumably on the AppStore): "Two dollars for a game? Way too expensive." He then proceeded to pay $6 for a latte.
