  4. the fast is over...not sure how useful my running commentary will be for the story, but it sure gave me a new appreciation for food

  6. after hour 19 I stopped feeling hungry...expect it to pick up again around dinnertime...fluctuating levels of 'hunger' hormones perhaps?

  8. so it's been exactly 15 hours since I've eaten, and I'm just beginning to feel persistently hungry. hmm..may have to make this a 36-hr fast
