Alternately reading my planning board packet, developing feedback database for work, and doing house chores. And your Saturday?

Growing tired of "summer weather." Possibility of afternoon thunderstorms was innocuous when I didn't need to make weather-based decisions.
Back on XUbuntu. Glad to be off of Windows on at least one more computer I use frequently.
Washing sand for Arnold and Gerald's crabitat.
Rereading My Ishmael. Quinn doesn't quite make the same impact as the first several times I read his books, but they still changed my life.
Dancing around my home office to some midi tracks while I try to improv over them on my guitar. Probably hilarious to watch.
Lied about yesterday. Most fun I've had at work in years.
Touring central NC vineyards all day. Would be more excited if it weren't pre-six-a.m. and if this weren't a working trip.
Learning SMSPro software. I've never seen such a poor matching of verbs to the tasks I actually want the system to do. This needs QA. Badly.
Much as I love it here, the Piedmont is NOT my ideal climate in the summer. I need an excuse to spend May thru August in Vermont.
Reading some good essays on Deep Ecology. Wish I had done more of the nonessential readings when I was in school. Never seemed to have time.
In the mood to watch American Beauty. So damn it, I will.
Sojourn in Chatham to Captain John's Dockside Restaurant. (His name's not John, he's not a captain, and there's no dock, but still tasty.)
@RobertP Nope, sending a proxy to CEC. Work comes first, especially when it's a non-profit community event.
Getting ready to help run a fundraiser benefit for Cyclone Nargis victims with authentic Burmese food & music from WXYC, tonight, 6-8:45pm.
Just ran coffee maker without remembering to put coffee cup underneath. Not the start of a good day.
@RobertP Eee is a laptop which is about the size of a trade paperback. Small enough to actually want to carry it. http://tinyurl.com/ypry8s
Eee 900 came today. It was hard to not play with it all day long. Erin's practically jumping up and down.
Enjoyed WALL-E at the Lumina despite the large number of non-robots in the theatre.
Enjoying my day off tinkering around the house. Makes me get more excited about TechShop Durham coming soon: http://durham.techshop.ws/
