  1. Saw the wonderfully lovely Jason Rebello (+ trio) this morning at The National Concert Hall doing one of his Jazz Rainbow gigs for families.
  2. @kingssingers We (New Dublin Voices) are singing two of your arrangements tomorrow: Barber of Seville Overture and Billy Joel's Lullabye :-)
  3. Heading to Galway tomorrow with New Dublin Voices. Playlist made. We're singing the last of our 'Something Beginning With B' concerts.
  4. Annoyed that the Prince 'best of' I bought on iTunes only has a flabby 12" remix of Raspberry Beret - just him mucking about over a loop.
  5. @laputean You're welcome! We just finished season five of House. Thanks for the #followfriday #ff :-)
  6. @laputean I wondered if there'd be a way to teach music in a Socratic way. Can't imagine it, though. It simply has to be learned.
  7. @laputean I was thinking about music teaching yesterday when I read this great article about House & Socrates: http://is.gd/54DRv
  8. The plural, band-centric nature of the buttons on my blog ("Find us on...", "Buy our tracks on...") makes me sound a bit like @CherylKerl!
  9. Revenue sent me a letter saying I owe them ten cent. Glad I signed up for online service so that doesn't seem quite so dumb.
  10. Wrote a little song for a children's nativity play today: http://wp.me/pdRrU-8x #in
  11. Have been fiddling with LinkedIn profile. Is it useful?! Now I've got less time to do the stuff I have to do today. Hmm... oh yes: #in
  12. Have lots to do today including typesetting my sister @annamoran's Christmas carol in Sibelius and practicing the banjo. First, heat on...
  13. RT @davebarrett: "Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a tangerine"
  14. Tried shaping the facial hair (inspired by finishing Eurotash). Didn't *quite* get the wifely seal of approval...!
  15. New music in the air...rehearsed with James McMorrow and old band buddies Dave and Peter today. Came away with a banjo to learn to play-fun!
  16. #wordywednesday If You Leith Me Now (You Take Away The Biggest Port Of Me) by Chicago
  17. @cripesonfriday No probs :-)
  18. @cripesonfriday Yeah, they didn't get paid though!
  19. Why is there no film download site available in Ireland yet? Found an Apr08 article saying moviestar were launching but they didn't...
  20. @ClassicalReview Was just discussing collective nouns yesterday with our choir's resident pedant ;-) Nice Shostakovich Piano 2 review, btw.
