  1. Tonight's earthquake has been very mild (2.9 in the Japanese scale) but still noticeable cause we were only 10 km (6 mi) from the epicenter.
  2. @WoodWhisperer Great, "The Copyright restricts this video outside the US". Anybody can download it and send it my way, please? :o(
  3. @MBWPodcast Yep, the one on your feed arrived a few hours later but is a different episode. I'd say Marc screwed up this time. :o)
  4. @MBWPodcast It was WTO's feed. I just received the one from MBW and seems to be OK. I always rant b/c of the annoying duplicates but today!
  5. @WoodWhisperer Is just me or the WTO #61 is a repost of last one? I've already listened to the one downloaded through iTunes.
  6. RT @Furnitude Safety is paramount in the shop: [New blog post, finally: Dear Fine Woodworking http://tinyurl.com/ygd5lzq]
  7. @KariHultman @TomsWorkbench Nah, I was just being bad. Sorry but I couldn't pass on it. Anyway, it is a bad ass birch. I love it!
  8. @TomsWorkbench Tom, you mean you've wrote an entire article about it and still don't know what it is? Man, you're good. ;o)
  9. @KariHultman Exactly. Problem is, by that, they mean you must completely renounce to your individuality in favor of the group's uniformity.
  10. Grey and damp monday morning, and here I am. "I'm just twittering in the rain..." (Sing to the tune of "I'm just walking in the rain.")
  11. @woodnbits Smart use of the space, Larry. A great way to use that big wasted space in the middle of the shop when not powered up.
  12. @KariHultman Problem thought is, sticking out is the worst thing in Japan. They say "The nail that sticks out is the first to be hammered".
  13. @KariHultman Yeah, she's as "special" as it gets. Claiming to have been to Venus and that in another life Tom Cruise was his Japanese lover.
  14. @KariHultman You really get used to. In the 3 1/2 years I've been here I recall close to 40 of them. And that's just the ones I've noticed.
  15. @TomsWorkbench Not me! Although I'm close to get the permanent residence I'll never been able (nor wishing) to vote. It must've been Cruise.
  16. @TomsWorkbench Hey Tom, the worst disaster is called Hatoyama and is our new president. Dig the wiki about his wife, it is priceless. :o)
  17. @KariHultman Funny thing is that they are so frequent that we treat them like business as usual. Open eyes, feel it, wait, & back to sleep.
  18. @KariHultman Yeah, it was only about a 3 but just a few miles South and relatively long.Everything is right, thanks.Quite a way of waking up
  19. I can't think of a better way to start a Sunday than being awaken by an earthquake at 0550 AM. Wait... actually, yes, I can think of plenty!
  20. @WoodWhisperer So, Marc, Rush is basically saying that you singlehanded have killed The New Yankee Workshop... Nice job man, kudos! ;oP
