  1. @brentsimmons FWIW, I think Leiberman is being perfectly rational by his own criteria - he's playing the rest of them for fools. Sad.
  2. @incanus77 I'm bummed I had to miss it - glad to hear it went well.
  3. @merlyn Kinda odd, though, since it sounds like it was her idea.
  4. @merlyn Wow, I had no idea iPhone hacking could be used as a pick-up ploy.... ;)
  5. @aaronvegh Trust me, you don't need clients like that. They cost more intangibly than they will ever pay you.
  6. Successful weekend - tree trimming party last night, kitchen cleaning today. Chili in the crockpot. Good times! Plus an excuse to bake.
  7. @schwa Dunno, but it's the same here in Portland.
  8. @cheesepuppet Tweetie right now, have also used Twitteriffic. They are all ok; I'm not sure the perfect one has been written yet.
  9. @cieslak I always use plists for static data unless reusing code that already expects sqlite. But I don't think there's one right answer.
  10. @wilshipley Was your use of *tiny*url in conjunction with mentioning AT&T's network intentionally or accidentally ironic? :)
  11. @incanus77 Sure, sure, I've heard all the excuses.... (when I was a kid, we once had foiled wrap and I could peel off the tape to peek :).
  12. @incanus77 Bad boy! During December it's not ok to shake any box not addressed to you! :)
  13. Just got back from walking the dogs - brrrr!!!!! Feels like the coldest night yet this year.
  14. @incanus77 Of course, this means that none of my laptops have ever been lost or damaged. :)
  15. @incanus77 Ah, makes sense. I keep all financials on my desktop system, and try to keep the laptop losable/damagable most of the time.
  16. @dmoren That is *adorable*. I think the teenaged phase is even cuter than the tiny baby phase, if that is even possible.
  17. @incanus77 @ctshyrock @rentzsch So I must be missing something - why do I need my disk images to be encrypted?
  18. @macgeek02 Turn him/her into a cat toy.
  19. @incanus77 I share your skeeviness. Not only about DNS diversity but also not putting all eggs in the GOOG basket. Seems risky.
  20. @incanus77 Don't fret - they're usually worn with short skirts. :)
