@briandoll I have, and I still love it. I don't stand 100% of the time, and I don't sit 100% of the time. I have a stool and go back & forth

@timocratic if you mean http://tinyurl.com/59yvr9, that was over 4 years ago :)
@timocratic I'm not sure I follow? I haven't been doing anything with xml config files recently...
don't want to do ANYTHING tonight that I need to do. motivation zero
i hate i hate i hate i hate i hate itunes. it treats you like an idiot. MAJOR frustration going on
@KathySierra I thought it was a brilliant idea :)
first online cap tutorial DONE. I think it went very well. Thanks to all who attended!
alright. I think I'm all ready for tonight's cap tutorial...!
just saw Wall-E, really liked it. Interesting balance of elements
@tobi we did similar by writing our own scripts with aws/s3, and running as many as 40 processes in parallel. still took a few days, tho
(loving my random passwords, btw. easy to remember, but reasonably secure)
going through some pristine deployment runs with cap in prep for tutorial. GREAT way to find road bumps
@bil_kleb there's another option, and that is "right". :) I'm with you. I prefer Dir[] to Dir.glob
trying to teach ONLY the basics is hard. The temptation is keep pointing out "this cool thing" and "that cool thing"
I'm excited about Tuesday's tutorial. I feel like the materials are coming together well. I hope the attendees find it worth the time and $$
memoir in exactly six words? Mine might be "What I _really_ wanted was obscurity."
Either that was really good timing, or Apple is watching my tweets. I'm finally able to download the ipod touch software update
honestly, Apple. I've been patient today. But if you can't serve the link, PULL THE LINK. Set some expectations, here. Communicate.
@digitalhobbit I rented it a couple weeks ago and loved it. My wife isn't a gamer at all, though, so it'll just be me and the kids :)
my wife got me Lego Indiana Jones for the Wii, for our 11th anniversary. Now that's love :)
