  1. Quote of the Day: When I step up in the club/the beer is on the house;/the whiskey's on the rocks/while your sister's on my mouth! (3OH!3)
  2. Wow...16 days since my last post?? Where has the time gone? Haha. College classes have been good/I've been busy. I'll try to update soon.
  3. Yes, I do think I'd like a drink! No, nothing sweet For me to eat. Do not quell me or dispel me. Candy is dandy; but, liquor is quicker!
  4. Sorry for no posts in a while...lots of family turmoil; father got arrested, I'm starting college Friday...too much to take in all at once.
  5. Half-hearted Quote of the Day: What did the two pieces of bread say as they saw the butter? "Oh, no; we're toast!"
  6. Sorry for no quotes of the day recently...too busy!
  7. Quote of the Day: I drink the drops of life like they are evanescent water...
  8. Had a talk today with my physician..we talked about my becoming a nurse despite my stutter. It was very...uplifting. She fully supported me.
  9. Quote of the Day: Please hand me a parachute: I'm falling fast, for you...
  10. @Sarah11085 Good job Sarah! : )
  11. Quote of the Day: Sometimes, the brightest days are found in the broken hearts of others.
  12. Quote of the Day: The only stars I count are the ones on my crumbling ceiling.
  13. @stutterdude Besides, I think using "J.V.Harker" is better, as a poet; it sounds more like a poet's name. I don't know.
  14. @stutterdude Well, its kind of stupid; some kid in 1st grade named Vincent poked me in the eye with a pencil. I've never used the name since
  15. @StutterRockStar The V stands for "Vincent." I hate that name, or else I would just use the name "James Vincent Harker."
  16. My new site is up and running! Just go to www.atasteofeternity.blogspot.com, and you will see a somewhat-complete list of my poetry. Thanks.
  17. And yes, I would self-advertise as much as possible. It builds up a sense of confidence. I guess do it as much as you feel fit to.
  18. Only to make the listener more comfortable..if they think you're accepting of it, they should be, too.
  19. @Sarah11085 I don't know what other people think, but when I self-advertise my stutter, I also say "it's no big deal" or "I'm OK with it."
  20. Quote of the Day: Dying is easy; it's living that's hard. It's so disturbing to hear what you're fearing. -DevilDriver
