  1. One month until Christmas...and Urbana '09, if you're keeping track.
  2. On the Origin of Species is 150 today. Like reimagined films, it attempts where no one has gone before on the same theme, like Kirk Cameron.
  3. Reads about proactive vs. defensive parenting, and that failure and play are actually...good.
  4. Reads/sees about Thunder Clash, Dekotoras, and "Fabulous Prime". Also how weddings can..um...transport people to smart places.
  5. Listening to Symbiotica after stumbling on to it. Also discovering that there's a SymbioticA that is not music, but about life.
  6. Even with two librarians in the family, still got a library tour. :) My local library will be part of a consortium in mid-December.
  7. @dixiejayne I assume there's a hunger at both. :D
  8. @ddgrunau That's what I was thinking too. :)
  9. The band The Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus may be an "obscure object of desire", but it isn't a political group.
  10. May get to a labyrinth this afternoon, but David Bowie won't be harmed in this one
  11. Reads about Zizek, theology, reputation, and the tensions with Christian thought and philosophical Marxism.
  12. Wonders which would be the hardest entry to draw in pictionary: 'vague', 'ambiguous', or 'equivocal'? Of course, there's always 'imbroglio'.
  13. Reading/watching about Tea Party: The Documentary Film. Also read this about tea parties and Boston: http://tinyurl.com/yhysazy
  14. Finally can experience The Butterfly Effect (by Steve Scott). One good discovery effected the outcome. :D
  15. Reads a quote from The Civil War as Theological Crisis: http://slacktivist.typepad....
  16. Reads about Cassidy: Amish Vampiress of the Tribulation.
  17. Mastery is a love affair, apparently.
  18. Watches Felicia Day explain colliding galaxies and sandstorms of glass. No explosions or doomsday scenarios, though.
  19. Reading about TARP, Biden, banks and how they haven't "trickled-down" and just seem constipated.
  20. Learns about the Psalm 23 antithesis...slowly.
