My Eee PC and D70 together fit in my compact Lowepro Photo Runner! Doing a week with them.
@scorpfromhell: i let gutsy do the upgrade for me. took hours, but worked. then i used this: http://tinyurl.com/6ql7jh

i thought only cellular phone support people could have such nutty solutions: http://tinyurl.com/57ky87
backing up the hardy install to restore previous eeeXubuntu. maybe i should donate to the clonezilla project for making this possible.
hardy installation on eee pc failed. boots fine, but can't detect wired ethernet anymore. have to figure what is missing.

@thej: eeeXubuntu takes the edge off hardware compatibility for Xubuntu. it's still XFCE though. lightweight and fast, but barebones.
