  4. Travel tip: pack plenty spare clothes for humid places. You will sweat buckets and your clothes will need two days to dry.

  11. @noelladsa no, it was sweet. the skin's bitter though, so we had to peel it off. apparently it's a popular fruit in sri lanka too.

  15. Met the Linux geeks from Timor-Leste, who say there is no terrestrial internet access in their country. Too expensive. Satellite is cheaper.

  19. For lunch today, we had chopsuey with cuckoo eggs. The Filipinos take their non-vegetarianism very seriously.
