  1. @DanHarper7 Mac OSX does the same thing when it comes out of sleep mode. The perceived speed and responsiveness of a UI goes up that way
  2. Some guy on a mailing list that I'm on just advised using tables for a site's layout. Calling divs and CSS wonky. #wtf #1999
  3. For everyone that uses Backbone.js: have you tried lo-dash yet? It's an optimised drop in replacement for underscore bit.ly/M9l430
  4. @destraynor No prob! I laughed very hard when somebody walked out and you said "she's going to change her web app". Brilliant!
  5. @positive_judes fish have time to get around too ;)
  6. "Pinterest Architecture Update - 18 Million Visitors, 10x Growth,12 Employees, 410 TB of Data". Now that's web scaling bit.ly/LzTyWh
  7. A pretty awesome talk by @destraynor about the content in your web app bit.ly/JQU8hi
  8. Dear unknown caller. I don't answer calls hiding their number. Want to talk to me? No problem, show me your number
  9. Some people in Brisbane are wearing scarves and beanies because it's 'only' 18 C. They're nuts
  10. Just had my phone go off in the middle of a silent library without me noticing it. Atleast that means my headphones work well. woops!
  11. @Louis_Remi I like the idea of a small lib, 0 dependancies and it just working. Will try this sometime soon
  12. The whole deal of the little app is to make it easier to track finding new awesome clients. Then I shouldn't ignore the ones I already have!
  13. Nearly 3 hours into the experiment I have to put it on hold. I swore myself not to, but this client work really needs to get done first
  14. @bassemreda I've used a lot of @codeigniter and tried some other 5.3 frameworks briefly, but overall like @fuelphp the best
  15. @silentworks maybe, if this little experiment doesn't turn out to be too much of a fail ;)
  16. I build my styling with LESS. Normally, I would generate server side with cache, but for now client side watcher is easier to setup
  17. @fuelphp 1.2 comes packed with Bootstrap 1.4. I'm gonna put some time in porting my views to Bootstrap 2. Don't wanna build with old code
  18. Turns out @fuelphp's scaffolding creates controllers with singular names (job). I like them plural, I'm used to Active Resource
