  1. For those of you who're Android developers, checkout the Android version of the AR kit @androidarkit: http://bit.ly/12rPxq
  2. @steveworkman Ah, then ARKit isn't really for you. Someone at @iphonedevcamp wrote an AR implementation in Unity.
  3. @steveworkman I'd like to hear specifically what issues you're having. It's mid-cycle right now and I'm addressing several large issues.
  4. @boostedhuman It isn't GPL. I haven't made the license clear, but it is a non-viral license with attribution. Go forth and make paid apps!
  5. Awesome game powered by ARKit: http://bit.ly/arghgame Augmented Reality Ghost Hunter or...ARGH!
  6. @danbri Of course, that being said...RedLaser seems to get away with it :)
  7. @danbri Theoretically, an app can't get into the store and do real-time image processing. ARKit is strictly location and orientation based.
  8. @lordmatty We're on github, so just fork and send us a pull request: http://github.com/zac/iphon... or email it to me: zac@iphonear.org
  9. RT @mikeyk Sneaky peek of SFSafe, this is the augmented reality view part http://yfrog.com/0idbtwj (huge thanks to @zacwhite's @iPhoneARKit)
  10. @matax Hm, do you have any patches for fixes or examples of bad input/output? We're in the process now of adding unit tests to the core.
  11. @u2elan Looks fantastic! One of our original ideas was to make a hybrid view that could switch between MapKit and ARKit with one datasource.
  12. @evermeer If you use @github, be sure to fork us and keep us informed of your progress. http://github.com/zac/iphon...
  13. We've moved to @github! Fork away! http://bit.ly/3ltCC We'll be cleaning things up some more and adding in 3.1 support soon.
  14. As much as we appreciate the attention, we can confirm that the London Tube Stop app isn't using ARKit.
  15. RT @mswar777 @iphonearkit ARShooting Game DEMO! powered by iPhoneARKit http://bit.ly/Bw8a5
  16. A more verbose version of our plans for the #ARKit http://bit.ly/13E8Pz
  17. More code on the way next week. We're still chugging on getting the API off the ground. meantime here's a CNN AR story http://bit.ly/
  18. Thanks to everyone who's interested in the project. We're in the process of revamping the API. Give us a little time to move it out of demo.
  19. should mention @hasemanOnMobile as a contributor too
  20. A Huge thank you to @charlesruelle @starshan @sidgabriel and @zacwhite for all their hard work on the iPhone ARKit. Excellent work all!
