@ Moreover interoperability should be at the data layer and not at the app level as @ thinks. Internet is key, not web apps.

@ Yes, as long as we have open access to data and APIs, just like... Twitter. Then you chose the tools to use, but it's secondary.

@ Agreed, when you need ubiquity, it's the way to go (maybe with an API so native apps are possible). It's no holy grail as Java.
