My feed is 90% "fed" by roughly 10% of people I follow. Common? (2-3x as true for heavy tweeters who know & @ each other)

@peterme I suspect the swing states are seeing the most obama punches. (and they're mostly letting press eviscerate Palin)
@whitneyhess gotcha. which I guess is why a wall on a group is just redundant (?)
@mmilan responded ... thanks for the awesome discussion.
i am totally flummoxed by facebook's "group" interface. post vs comment vs discussion, then there's the wall... maybe i'm just freakin old
Cheering the @openiai platform. Great energy, great ideas :-)
@kaniasty that's so cool! The butterfly effect, in stereo!
@jayamorgan as the great Mark Twain once said, "I didn't have time to write a short letter, so I wrote a long one instead" ;-)
so, my position statement was the combed-hair-polite version; here's the crazy-hair-ranting version: http://is.gd/2gvQ Feedback coveted!
@daveIxD Wenger's work shows that communities of practice are "homes for identities" -- people have a natural need to affiliate.
@threefour great question -- I'll send you an email.
@threefour I agree. Make it awesome enough, and members will come. With our community's firepower, impact *shouldn't* be hard, right?
@openiai looks like it's probably something awesome! unfortunately my employer is one of the gazillion that blocks facebook :(
@askrom honestly I think he meant to say "for governor" ... but I'm still not sure it's accurate (or even relevant)
@lwcavallucci The party faithful probably just assumed it was some kind of Church ;-)
So, I'm in running for IAI Board. Totally honored to be among the amazing nominees. BTW, my position statement: http://tinyurl.com/5dk3j2
IGNORE THAT PREVIOUS URL: a character got truncated. OOPS. Try this: http://tinyurl.com/5b65bo ... ok, carry on.
Ah the vagaries of search: opulent Walter Reed Mdl School used by mistake instead of Hospital for McCain backdrop: http://tinyurl.com/5b65b
I know it's a horribly sexist appellation, but "Caribou Barbie" is teh funny.
@mmilan btw I've seen a half dozen references to the OODA loop in mainstream media since April ... never noticed it before.
