  1. Came home to a note on the door saying that an apartment upstairs was robbed yesterday afternoon. Eeek. Really gotta get renter's insurance.
  2. QOyesterday: "Dang. So, what did she do--pull a gun on him?" "No, she pulled her _mouth_."
  3. @zt4 Man, I hate those bitchy ITP girls. It's like being in "Heathers" there sometimes.
  4. @hyla_crucifer Ye-e-esss . . .
  5. So, I came to the office, and everybody else left. Was it something I said?
  6. RT @nyrbclassics: rt @EliseBlackwell Can anyone recommend a great lit-selling bookstore in Dallas/Plano? Seriously.
  7. Wow, if you've been itching to buy some Storm fonts, the Open Library 2 is a great deal right now: http://is.gd/1tFza
  8. Okay, folks, I admit that I'm going outside now, but . . . Psych! I forgot to charge my phone, so you still won't be able to reach me on it.
  9. @herecomeslucy Since starting school, I've kept the ringer turned off. Which is another reason it's a lousy way to try to reach me.
  10. Why do people persist in trying to call my mobile phone? If you know me well enough to have that number, you know I'm nearly always at home.
  11. @FakeErinMcKean Pedometer race! I like it! But I'd have to leave the house to participate, probably. I don't think I'd like that.
  12. @kelseyp @amae Oh, thanks. Now I just lost 45 minutes to reading everybody's favorites. I had stuff to do today, y'know . . .
  13. @asimone Are you gonna wear your new purple driving mocs with that plaid summer jacket and the embroidered shorts? Sssss! Hottt.
  14. @mdresser Was it good for you?
  15. @xensen Problem is, Scala's the type family in the Chicago Manual, and I'm already cribbing enough from that . . .
  16. @xensen Oh, and, no, I wouldn't say Fedra's similar to Dolly at all. Scala is closer, and that's what I've been working with so far.
  17. @xensen But anyway, I now see that Dolly's not available in OpenType. I hate to buy PostScript fonts now; OT saves so many boring clicks.
  18. @xensen Fedra was the house font at my old job. I like it pretty well, but it's quirky and costy. I'm looking at Darden's Freight now...
  19. Drats. I wanted to use underware.nl's Dolly for the book I'm doing, but the license doesn't allow embedding in PDF, which my client needs.
  20. @Cirinda Come to Brooklyn!
