  1. Michelle ran into someone recently who went to the same tiny elementary school as me, 15 kids to a class, in rural PA. #TwilightZone
  2. @lapcat @kickingbear Yeah, was gonna say, get behind DC. Used to live there with 600,000 other Senator-less people.
  3. @ddribin Personally, a few out-of-context emails are enough to make me distrust the whole idea of "science" </sarcasm>
  4. @Arclite The word "penis-avatared" is funny on at least two levels, at least.
  5. Five (!) first-timers at NSCoder tonight. I was the only regular. Good time, though. Everyone was working on iPhone; no Mac code tonight.
  6. Turnout of five so far at PDX NSCoder, but everyone but me is new here! Crazy.
  7. @manton Just watched that this weekend with some first-timers.
  8. @katili I have been using Billable for all my needs for over three years.
  9. Heading to NSCoder early in a few minutes. Good stopping point.
  10. @robhudson Coffee shops, mostly. Right now, a Starbucks. I tell you, it's Portland. Much tamer stuff overheard in DC when I lived there.
  11. OH, retired lady: "I miss nursing, saving people's lives. Then again, you kill people sometimes, so it's a mixed bag."
  12. @missmeaghan Ah, ok, sounds suspect then. Is it running WiiConnect24? Where it checks for updates even when sleeping?
  13. Again: sales guys love to talk about World of Warcraft.
  14. @missmeaghan I can't imagine much of what it would do to use a noticeable amount of bandwidth. Does he also have a PC?
  15. @ethorson 11:30. Too early for pre-bus lunch people.
  16. OH: "She was all, hey, I'm 32, give me a kid! And I was like, we haven't even spent time together, don't know what'll transpire, you know?"
  17. "... the two decided that they would add elf ears to the business" (via @skinny) http://aradanicostumes.com/
  18. @josevazquez Sounds like a good setup, then. I do go to libraries sometimes, but usually, home is too quiet so I need some background noise.
  19. @brentsimmons LOL. Shouldn't that be "Guess whloaca?" though?
  20. @josevazquez Too quiet, no food, no coffee, far bathrooms, and website filtering, for starters. But that's just me ;-)
