  11. It's hard to get back to normal life when every time I look outside I see another neighbor being moved out of their home. Stupid flood.

  17. @aliendial I was one of the very very lucky ones and didn't lose a thing. Many of my neighbors (even in my building) weren't so fortunate.

  19. It's been very noisy here today with the helicopters overhead, the disaster recovery folks packing up, and "the vendors" coming in.
  20. I have to say, I am so impressed by the way my complex is handling the flood. It's made a tough time so much easier.
