  1. Because "green" always means stop. http://gawker.com/5422246/anti+gay-republican-leaders-safe-word-green-balloons?skyline=true&s=x
  2. I bet my blood pressure would be at a more-acceptable level if there wasn't a "Sarah Palin" to raise it.
  3. @posiegirl I have a funny EMI story for you. It has to do w/ the memory of one of my rock heroes.
  4. @xxkrustee It's 20 degrees out, wear what keeps you warm, plus jeans are fine at Jazz Alley (any night). I just wouldn't go in a t-shirt.
  5. RT @3imaginarygirls: An imaginary interview in this week's Seattle Weekly with... us! http://ow.ly/KlN3 // Great article @brick_house! Yay!!
  6. @_aims I did see that, but idont think I can go. You should, though!
  7. @seattlerockguy @earcandyblog That was going to be my guess too.
  8. @xxkrustee Nectarines? Mandarin oranges?
  9. Guess who spent 9 of the 1st 11 weeks of 2009 w/ the #1 album? But the VMAs were in Sept. How is that possible???
  10. Each time I read something that says Taylor Swift is a Kanye-created phenomenon, I get 1 step closer to becoming Peter Finch in Network.
  11. @Brookefox Your callers (mostly) are jerks. I totally think you should sing the national anthem. Where's the harm? (& I AM a music critic!)
  12. @stephaniedrury That's a really weird way of saying "that Stephanie sure is crafty!"
  13. @seattlepeach BTW, I use http://is.gd to shorten URLs.
  14. @seattlepeach Awww... I'm flattered you took my word for it, considering how many trips to the bar I made that night.
  15. It's 18 degrees outside, which means it is absolutely the wrong time for One Bus Away to crap out on me.
  16. This article is going to be really good but I need to sleep on it another night.
  17. @bob_ham Wouldn't it have to be your fave between Picaresque & Her Majesty The Decemberists? (Those are the KRS - not Capitol - releases.)
  18. @bob_ham I think The Woods by Sleater-Kinney would be at the top of my list for that criteria.
  19. @biggray I even kind of liked "Vertigo" quite a bit but I don't think anyone buys the story that their album was the best of 2009.
  20. Metacritic gave the U2 album a 72% score, which counts as "almost as good as Paramore", yet, it is Rolling Stone's #1 album of 2009. Right.
