  1. I am in Fukuoka, Japan, sitting in front of a Starbucks, x from a McD's as Earth Wind & Fire blares from a car radio. Yr wlcm, world!
  2. Sweet Street Ride http://post.ly/1Gf3
  3. From a JAPANESE Japanese stationery store! http://post.ly/1GZ1
  4. One hour, seven minutes, four seconds, thirty-four dollars. http://post.ly/1GIK
  5. Touchdown, Jeju! http://post.ly/1FOe
  6. Help me find a stationery store in Japan! http://post.ly/1Da2
  7. Center City Smogworks http://post.ly/1DWr
  8. Dope Floats http://post.ly/1DN9
  9. @Andrew505 Am now at a Chinese fast-food mall, in fact. 20-30 kiosks selling every Chinese dish or side imaginable...good & cheap!
  10. At a Beijing mall. Either I was just propositioned by a hooker or a girl was trying her English and got some subtle idioms wrong.
  11. Pogoplug proves its mettle yet again, mounting my office drive here in China. While Back To My Mac is completely blind, as usual.
  12. @bobbyllew Watched almost an hour of Carpools during my flight to Beijing! I seem to always watch them while traveling.
  13. @myapplemenu I hope it's a secret that I'm an idiot; yes I have often written "Shanghai" instead of "Beijing."
  14. Incidentally, I'm trying out Posterous during this trip: http://ihnatko.posterous.com/ - putting the bigger stuff on ihnatko.com
  15. I couldn't tweet from Beijing hotel broadband, but Tweetie on my iPhone seems to work fine. Buying 100M of int'nl data was a good move!
  16. Rrgh. Can't tweet from shanghai thanks to the Great Firewall of China. Trying via SMS.
  17. "I'm going to sit in a chair for 12 hours and stare at a screen" is only good news when the chair isn't an airplane seat.
  18. @rickreynolds_se Crunchbook was a typo at first...then I liked it too much to change it. :)
  19. @bwahacker My point is that desktop GUIs have stagnated for lack of effort and creativity...not for lack of potential.
  20. @lbutlr But the lathe of innovation is still OS and apps. iPhone OS vs. dozens of "Wow! It almost works like an app!" webservices.
