  1. Thing #43: Using Craigslist is certainly less work than trying to set up a garage sale!
  2. Thing #53: The Half-Price site is fun and the main pages inform readers that there is a 10% discount card for educators ... and LIBRARIANS!!
  3. Thing #56: Celebrity Tweet was fun but after a while, the bowel movements of the rich and famous become less enchanting...
  4. Thing #55: I was just leaving college as Facebook was beginning, so I missed a key period when it would have been CRUCIAL to my social life.
  5. Thing #41: The advice on stopping junk mail, particularly offers by credit companies, was very helpful.
  6. Fitness: My goal is to be the same size on the day my daughter graduates from high school as the day she went to kindergarten.
  7. Games: I don't think that offering games to attract teens to the library is different than having puppets for kids or dominos for seniors.
  8. Games: The music playing caused my husband to yell, "What are you doing there? PLAYING GAMES??? I thought you were doing library training."
  9. Spring Cleaning: The “Paperless Office” is now called email, electronic files, computerized calenders, PDAs, textmessaging, flash drives ...
  10. Spring Cleaning: I did find some missing and forgotten documents!!
  11. If it has "Miracle" in the title, don't bother. If it says "Permanent" results, don't believe it. If it says "Simple", don't kid yourself.
  12. Nutrition: Nutrition Data is packed with useful and surprising information about the food you eat.
  13. Going Green: I'm still not clear about HOW vinegar gets odors out. Has anyone ever smelled vinegar???
  14. Going Green: I went to the Direct Marketing Assn website to sign up for the mail preferences to cut down on junk mail that comes to my home.
  15. Games: I have no gaming skills. I could not figure them out when I was younger and I still am unable to figure them out!

  17. Wellness: I started a health kick a couple months ago, but I really didn't think it would improve my life as much as it did.
  18. Wellness: Daily Plate (http://www.thedailyplate.com/): allows you to search nutrition information on restaurant foods.
  19. Sound: This has been a real education for me about music sharing capabilities online!
  20. This whole experience has been an amazing journey. I was a reluctant "tourist" at first, but am thankful for the trip.
