  5. just got "Script Not Responding" from Google Wave in Firefox. No one tell me this could ever work in a "browser" that renders JS 10X slower.
  6. @cwoodruff yeah i let ryan know i couldn't make it this year
  7. @fallenrogue it just irks me that they think they're smarter than @unlcebobmartin and @martinfowler

  9. /s/git/dvcs
  10. Writing ruby at the airport bar. How did this ever work before git?
  11. r@benfulton chromeframe makes ie8 10x faster http://twurl.nl/alni6f looking at that dom, plugins and js and i'm sure ie8 would choke hard
  12. @JimHolmes @JayRWren you want to do heavy DOM manipulation (for large DOMs) with JS in ie and you'll double your timeline AND cut features
  13. @JimHolmes @JayRWren wrong. ie8's js is absurdly slow compared to every real browser. ie is why we can't have nice things.
  14. Off to London for two weeks for work. Should be fun but I'm sadly going to miss Grand Rapids GiveCamp #grgivecamp.
  15. parallels people (@jmcw, @fallenrogue) is converting a vmware image to parallels a bad idea?
  16. @nkohari whatever it is, it's completely useless if i can't collaborate with everyone i need to.
  17. google wave invite only beta is some stupid bs. that model worked for gmail because you could still use it with any email user
  18. @mletterle i want google wave for my team but a collaboration/communication tool is useless if you can't use it with everyone you need to
  19. i go between textmate and rubymine but way too often in TM i try to run specs with really stupid syntax errors rubymine warns me about
  20. rubymine made me realize that visual studio is only the vehicle used to deliver jetbrains' resharper
