  14. Over 24 hours later, still in an airport waiting for our final flight to Coyhaique, Chile. Winter again, snow on the mountains, overcast.
  15. farewell to San Fran, Erica, Tim and boys. Great transition from work to our expedition - now heading south to Coyhaique. Huge gear load.

  19. Each day a few more hurdles jumped. Last day at work today so now the focus can be truly on getting ready. Need to buy more gloves.
