  1. Not a single word written for NaNoWriMo today. Granted, I'm still days ahead, but still sad. No way I could write after that work day, tho.
  2. I want to shower. I want dinner. And I want off this god damn computer. I hate "urgent" launches.
  3. @mattepp I do that if the app's open sometimes, although if it's closed I'll use LaunchBar's Instant Send feature. ;-)
  4. @JoeAngrisano I think the problem is that neither of them is wholly focused on prepping images for the web. Both too generic, in a way.
  5. @JoeAngrisano Seriously. What I really want is Acorn with Pixelmator's slicing, ruler, full screen, and masks.
  6. @matro Same here. My Dock is a glorified alternative to the command-tab interface.
  7. @JoeAngrisano Right there with you; although the JPEG compression in their slicing tool is also keeping me away.
  8. @matro @andrewspittle Since you can pass stuff to scripts and whatnot, Instant Send offers lots of possibilities; I mostly open files w/ it.
  9. @matro @andrewspittle Select file in Finder/PathFinder. Hold down LB shortcut, then start typing=>opens/acts on file based on abbreviation.
  10. @andrewspittle I vastly prefer to type one or two letters as opposed to the beginning of the app name, myself. And I use Instant Send a lot.
  11. @andrewspittle LaunchBar all the way. Beats all of them by a mile; Spotlight doesn't have Instant Send.
  12. @JoeAngrisano Real shame, too, given how absolutely fantastic most of the templating in EE is otherwise.
  13. @JoeAngrisano It's possible to improve it, but the templating system for forums in EE is so bad it takes a Herculean effort.
  14. @captainneutrino Wait until (if) you try the forums. The EE wiki is a walk in the park compared to them. :-\
  15. @captainneutrino Hooray! Loving the lack of purple/blue. Hope fighting through EE's terrible theming for wikis wasn't too painful. :-)
  16. It was a close thing, but I managed to meet my daily word goal for NaNoWriMo. Glad today wasn't the one to break my streak.
  17. @justinkuntz Yeah, I think I have to. Sucks I'll have to make sure the images don't get underlined. Ah well. I suffer for her art.
  18. Me: "What would you like the default link color to be?" Designer: "Same as the text color." Huh, silly me. I thought that was unusable.
  19. @inlikealion He's thinking of shutting them down completely. I've argued for them, but I'm not sure if/when they'll come back.
  20. This is killing me; instead of using transparent backgrounds, this designer used Darken layer blending to get rid of the white. Not helpful.
