  1. @alan_schmitt Here's the free one: http://amazon.com/dp/B002LS... (deal lasts through tomorrow).
  2. @alan_schmitt Congratulations! I've still got a few thousand to go, but mine isn't going to be finished at 50k, either.
  3. Choose Your Own Adventure on Kindle? Heck yeah! Not sure they're worth $5, but I'll take the free one for sure.
  4. Wish I were getting off work early, but since I didn't take lunch today I've actually worked more than my hours, anyway. Oh well. L4D time!
  5. @chezfugu Sweet! Best color picker out there looks like it's getting a lot better.
  6. @andrewspittle Doesn't make it right. :-)
  7. @andrewspittle Good luck! Particularly in OSS with other people involved, keeping layout and styling separate is a good idea.
  8. @andrewspittle Making good use of the "cascade" in CSS is a great way to cut down on your file size.
  9. @ostyman I've had too many pulling-my-hair-out sessions over tabular layout to desist. This is practically a holy mission for me. :-P
  10. @andrewspittle What's the problem that's pushing you toward tables?
  11. @andrewspittle There's no such thing as too much CSS ninja-ry. I have never used a table for layout that I didn't regret later. :-)
  12. @chikuyonok The main bug people are reporting is that "p" expands to "padding:;" in HTML syntax mode.
  13. @chikuyonok Been writing a novel this month for NaNoWriMo, which is why it's been taking me this long. I'll send people your way.
  14. @JoeAngrisano I'm referenced in the very last paragraph. His forks I knew about and was waiting to merge into TEA after testing.
  15. Christ, this is annoying. I've got people emailing me bug reports for code I haven't vetted or even looked at yet.
  16. God damn it. Serge forked TEA, didn't warn me what he was planning, and published a piece linking to his forks in Smashing Magazine.
  17. @ostyman I couldn't make it past the book with the sex-fantasy fairy godmother.
  18. @sarahmcm Ha ha, exactly.
  19. @melnychuk Interesting; I actually prefer the light brown for HTML tags. Might have to try using the darker brown for attributes, though.
  20. Also, being well-fed matters less for those of us who aren't borderline hypoglycemics. Pretty big deal for me, though.
