  17. back from the Intl. Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)...learned about its essential humanitarian efforts & got an intro to Intl. law
  18. Seminar with Prof. Andrew Clapham on non-state actors under international humanitarian law & the issue of talking to terrorists..fascinating
