  4. Khmer is supposed to have the "longest alphabet" at 74 characters, but I count Thai as having 76 (44 + 32). Thoughts?

  8. Friends do not "sawaddee" each other since it's too formal. So, avoid that and use the more friedlier 'bpen yangai, sabaidee law' instead.

  10. ฝนตก (fon dtog), with tones rising and low. Since rain is not a verb in Thai, we need the verb "to fall" (dtog) to say it is raining.
