  1. @klohrenz And its evil twin: Reply All
  2. @AmyZQuinn That's okay; now that Arlo has turned Republican, you don't have to.
  3. @davewiner Agreed on cruel and unusual. Thx.
  4. "... a huge number online don't know the difference between address bar and search bar." http://bit.ly/5u51N7
  5. @davewiner All I was really trying was to make what I thought was an obvious joke: that *you* of all people aren't typical of online users.
  6. @davewiner Where did I say most used Google News? If I did I mistyped. I don't think many people at ALL get news (certainly not most) there.
  7. Mine online news: heavy RSS user; probably 80% of my online news that way. 10% Twitter, 10% misc. following links etc.
  8. @davewiner Responses to a Tweet must be one of the most self-selecting audiences ever.
  9. @davewiner Most of news consumers in US never heard of RSS, never seen Twitter, don't know what urls are. I was comparing your use to them.
  10. @davewiner (which is not to say I think you're wrong about Google/news).
  11. Recession 101 — Messages like "It's a test, not a final." http://bit.ly/184k2j
  12. @davewiner In terms of digital use, you are off-the-charts unusual, practically sui generis.
  13. CJR estimates Google traffic is worth less than $12 million/year to WSJ. Wanna bet how much MSFT will pay for it? http://bit.ly/90JVrf
  14. Some will follow WSJ to Bing for free and easy access, so all GOOG traffic isn't lost. Depending on payment, Murdoch could make more money.
  15. McClatchy again reports—as it did some time ago—that Obama has settled on sending 34,000 more troops to Afganistan. http://bit.ly/8flVnf
  16. Apple v. AirFoil App issue over. http://bit.ly/4ShaTh
  17. RT @carr2n: aw, huffpo, a place to catch up on issues of civic moment http://bit.ly/8Ayq70 like nipslips, sex tapes, and cleavage.
  18. @jny2 Is 821 a big number when you're talking Harry Potter?
  19. @Chanders Excellent critical thinking. As Hemingway said of writers, "The most essential gift... is a built-in, shock-proof, shit detector."
  20. @ktpoy Show time.
